The first CMP was held in Tunis (2008) and it has subsequently run in Hammamet (2010 and 2012), Sousse (2014), Monastir (2018).  The 6th International conference will be held in Hammamet-Tunisia (2022), from 12th to 15th December.

The CMP22 proposes to review the latest scientific and technological advances in the field of “Corrosion and corrosion protection by inhibitors and surface coatings”. This will highlight the research topics and priorities on which future development should focus our efforts. We expect that during the conference, academics and industry will present their experiences and discuss recent problems and scientific developments that are oriented towards industrial applications.

The 6th International colloquium on Corrosion and Materials Protection is organized by academics and researchers belonging to different scientific areas of the University of Carthage and Tunis University in collaboration with the Mediterranean Association of Corrosion.

The objectives of CMP22 are also to establish and strengthen the trust relationship, in order to develop collaborative activities between researchers and industry.
